ITEM DESCRIPTION:
Beautiful 8" X 10" premium photo issued on a linen-textured paper stock, dates to approximately 1936.
This is Tom Brown and Rosalind Keith promoting the film "Annapolis Farewell" -- A Paramount Picture
ORIGINS - HISTORY:
Not a still, this was a mass produced item during the 1930's and included either with a candy/gum item or more likely as an offering from the New York Daily Mirror. The confusion as to the origin comes from my research which seems to identify them as ACC (American Card Catalog) item R95 (Movie Stars, 8 x 10 linen finish, several series), a Candy or Gum issue--but then somebody else had contacted me with scans of their collection which included a New York Sunday Mirror envelope that his Linen premiums had been delivered in. Interesting, though a little confusing.
GRADING - CONDITION:
Grades EX or 5/10 with some light wear around the corner tips; a couple of spots on the surface which may actually be part of the printing, at worst the areas are lightly rubbed but I doubt it.
