ABOUT THIS CARD AND THE SET IT COMES FROM:
Rare and high grade 1948 Dinkie Grips card from Series 3 covering MGM films. This is card #13 of 20, Mickey Rooney and Marilyn Maxwell in MGM's "Summer Holiday." Full card with unpunctured "grips" area at bottom measures approximately 2-1/8" X 4-1/4". Issued out of Birmingham, England by Dinkie Products with ad on back for Dinkie Grips as well as other Dinkie Products (Dinkie Curlers and Wavesetters). Very unusual card.
GRADING - CONDITION:
Despite sharp appearances only grades G-VG or 3.5/10 almost entirely due to a light crease found near the top left corner. Right edge is a bit rough when viewed from reverse as well. Light streak of soiling near bottom edge on back. Pretty sharp corners still, very nice if not for that light crease.
