This is James Dunn promoting the film "Bad Boy" - A 20th Century Fox Picture
ORIGINS - HISTORY:
Not a still, this was a mass produced item during the 1930's and included either with a candy/gum item or more likely as an offering from the New York Daily Mirror. The confusion as to the origin comes from my research which seems to identify them as ACC (American Card Catalog) item R95 (Movie Stars, 8 x 10 linen finish, several series), a Candy or Gum issue--but then somebody else had contacted me with scans of their collection which included a New York Sunday Mirror envelope that his Linen premiums had been delivered in. Interesting, though a little confusing.
GRADING - CONDITION:
Has diagonal impressions at each of the 4 corners as item was originally tucked into the corners of a scrapbook and over the years the weight of the book caused these impressions. Not creases or bends, but impressions. Otherwise EX+ or 6/10 or better and in very nice shape with just a little edge wear. Overall I'm grading VG-EX or 4.5/10 completely due to the impressions.
